My oldest daughter (who will be 6 this summer) loves planting seeds, and this is her first year that she has been 100% involved with planning the food we'll grow in our gardens. If there was an option for pink anything, she chose it. Luckily Seed Savers has many beautiful rosy pink options in their collection of heirloom seeds, which we chose together at Paradigm.

Earlier this week we planted most of our summer veg that we will grow in our indoor patio til the end of May.

How I keep track of what I planted where.

We planted:

We planted a bird and butterfly mix of flowers that day, which required sand to evenly sow. My big kid really loved dancing around and sprinkling the seeds and sand everywhere like a fairy. We also planted asters, butterfly weed, and german chamomile. That part was still fun, but didn't couple with any wild dance moves.
